Hello everyone! I am having an issue with a Dell Inspiron 1720 laptop. I've scoured the internet for a solution and it seems that no one is having the same issue as I am. Specifically, the BIOS on my machine seems to be corrupt. I have checked the how to guides on updating my BIOS, however, I cannot load Windows, let alone the BIOS itself in order to run the .exe file. So, the big question here is, how do I flash the BIOS the old school way with a bootable device, and where is such a file? If this isn't the way... how do I do it with the .exe file? For whatever reason... I can't upload the photos I took of the screens. I get an error message:
